Kelly & Matt, baby bump shoot South Gloucestershire
At the end of May, I photographed Kelly & Matt who were expecting their first child. We decided to make it a family shoot & took their dog Marley for a walk in the woods, in Wickwar South Goucestershire. It was a lovely relaxed sunday afternoon, I documented the couples exchange of smiles & joy as their little girl moved around & kicked during our shoot. After our walk, we also took some posed portraits at home, of kelly’s bump. They are such a warm & welcoming couple who are so deeply in love. It was a pleasure to shoot them & be a part of this wonderful experience.
Kelly recently gave birth to Taylor Lynn Harris, weighing 5lb 8 ounces who arrived 5 weeks early. She couldn’t wait to join us in the world and I wish the family all the best x
holiday, Dawlish Sands
So last weekend we booked a spontaneous weekend away. Persuading each other its a good idea to even take 1 day off work is mission enough! But when you find yourself glued to your computers every evening, bailing on date nights and stress bickering…you realise its time for a little break. We got a last minute bronze caravan at Dawlish Sands, Devon. A weekend of fudge, cider and cloudy beaches. I love caravan holidays. Love love love them! Every caravan, wether the one I stayed in back in the 80′s, 90s or 00′s, they are always the same.. like stepping back in time to my childhood. Shabby, comfortable and nostalgic. English holidays rock. Alfie had his first ever experience of sand between his toes and salt water swiming! He loved it. Two days of doing nothing. Perfect. These are a few I shot on film x
Samantha & Jason: A black & white wedding
March 4th 2012, I photographed the wedding of Samantha & Jason. A very classy black & white theme decorated the day – from the beautiful bridesmaids gowns to the black & white cupcakes & simply elegant table settings. We started our day at Artizan Hair salon in Bath for hair and makeup. Then we drove in a random snow shower to Gloucester where the bridal preparations & champagne continued! The couple were married in a hilariously relaxed & giggle filled ceremony – which was really lovely! It gave the ceremony a more relaxed feel and everyone was having fun. In a very modern twist the groom even took the bride’s surname of Higgins, which I thought was very refreshing. After an exchange of vows guests were treated to a meal, drinks & live opera singing until the party began in the evening. It was a great day and the bridal party looked absolutely stunning. xxx

Below is Barny, a golden retriever from Worcestershire. He stayed with us for the day and after hours of jumping over Alfie, he finally rested and gave me the chance to snap this adorable photo x
English Springer Spaniel Welfare (ESSW)
Being a dog lover, I could not pass up the opportunity to help with a good cause in my local area. Kate Gillam recently contacted me about donating to an auction run by ESSW. They are raising funds for Ollie the spinger spaniel who is in need of an operation to remove cancer from his jaw. They are still looking for donations to the auction, so anything you have to offer could really make all the difference!
